The Health Insurance for U.S. Students Studying Abroad™ plan is available to any full-time student, of any nationality, participating in a formal "study abroad" program through a U.S. college or university (or other recognized academic institution), as long as the student is not studying in his/her own country of citizenship.
United States citizens who are independently registered at a foreign college or university are also eligible.
